Try to previsualize how you want your figure to be posed before you begin water treating it. While the finished treatment does not limit the posability in any way, the best results are achieved when the figure is left in one iconic pose.
Once a general posing concept has been achieved, determine which, if any, of the figures accessories interact directly with the clothing. If you plan on posing the figure with a gun or Lightsaber, chances are very good that the accessories will not directly interact with the fabric, and therefore will not need to be with the figure during the treatment. Figures that will have accessories interacting with the fabric, such as the gas mask that comes with the Bespin Han Solo figure, it is a good idea to have them standing.
Before moving forward with this tutorial, play around with the figure and accessories and determine what pose you wish to ultimately display the figure in. |
