Remember when computer and console games could only be bought in physical form and downloadable content was decades away?

Limited Run remembers.

And they've just released the word that they're putting out thirteen classic Star Wars titles from the classic days of Lucasfilm Games (aka LucasArts)!

With game development being dominated by the likes of Blizzard, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft, smaller houses don't often get much of a look in, but Limited Run mad a spalsh with their announcement that Star Wars: Bounty Hunter was coming out for the PlayStation 4, and Star Wars(1991) on the NES and Game Boy this June 28th.

In a blog post (which has since been removed), Limited Run said it will release “elaborate Collector’s Edition packages every month” and listed the full run of titles:
  • Star Wars (NES, Game Boy)

  • Star Wars: Bounty Hunter (PS4)

  • Star Wars: Dark Forces (PC)

  • Star Wars Episode I: Racer (PC, N64)

  • Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (NES, Game Boy)

  • Star Wars: Jedi Knight (PC)

  • Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 - Jedi Outcast (PC)

  • Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (PC)

  • Star Wars: Racer Revenge (PS4)

  • Star Wars: Rebel Assault (PC)

  • Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (PC, N64)

  • Star Wars: TIE Fighter (PC)

  • Star Wars: X-Wing (PC)
If you're a collector who is a fan of the physical, rather than the digital, then this is great news for you. Alternatively, you can head to Steam where the non-display variety of these games are available.
