Australian bargain LEGO hunting website Bricking Around that Kmart has lowered all its prices on all currently available LEGO - including a number Star Wars sets - in what seems to be a general reduction across the board.

Bricking Around goes on to say that

The latest Kmart catalogue isn’t really a LEGO sale. It’s actually just an advertisement for their regular prices. Normally that wouldn’t be worth posting about but those regular prices are now lower than before on a heap of sets.

Kmart prices are usually pretty good anyway, but with these drops there are some sets that are over 30% off the official RRP.
Though the lower LEGO Star Wars set reductions (below) reflect that the higher wholesale base line that LEGO prices their licensed sets at means there is less wiggle room for retailers, this is still pretty good news and may be the opening shot of a price war that Big W, Target, Myer and David Jones may have to follow.
