Hinted at a few months earlier during their presentation at the International Toy Fair, Hasbro officially announced The Black Series 6-inch Boba Fett & Han Solo In Carbonite on May 3rd, 2013. Serving as the first figures released in the new 6-inch collection, this set was made available that summer as a San Diego Comic-Con and a Celebration Europe II exclusive.
Despite a slightly different paint design, the Boba Fett figure in this pack is otherwise identical to the #06 Boba Fett figure from the second wave of figures in The Black Series 6-inch line.
