Gentle Giant first revealed and opened the pre-order for their "Snowbunny" Padmé Amidala 1/6 scale statue on July 9, 2013. It was put on public display for the first time the following week in their booth at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con.
The Padmé Amidala statue, which is an intentional companion piece to the Yoda (Ilum) statue, saw a production run limited to just 774 pieces. It began shipping in September, 2014.
