Sabine Wren was a Mandalorian warrior, explosives expert, and talented graffiti artist-qualities that came in handy as one of the first to rebel against the Empire.

The Sabine Wren action figure featured on this page saw an early revision to the paint deco. The earlier releases featured blended hair, a bright orange Rebel logo on the chest plate, and a maroon wolf on the left shoulder armor. The later releases have a clearer masked paint design on the hair, a more subdued logo on the chest armor, and a red wolf on the left shoulder. There are other subtle alterations in the paint design, but the ones listed are the easiest to spot. In addition, the later release, date stamped 62851, did away with the holster pegs, giving the figure a better aesthetic for dramatic posing.

This figure was first officially revealed with the other figures in this wave of The Black Series 6-inch collection in the Hasbro showroom at the 2016 International Toy Fair. The wave, which became available in late November, 2016, also included figures based on the Princess Leia Organa, AT-AT Driver, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Revan, and Snowtrooper.
