Officially revealed (with additional weathering not seen on the production release) at the Hasbro Star Wars panel at the 2018 San Deigo Comic-Con, the VC140 Imperial Stormtrooper featured on this page was released as part of the fifth wave of The Vintage Collection's 2019 3.75-inch action figure line. The figure utilizes the body of the VC123 Stormtrooper (Mimban) figure with a retooled head from the Imperial Stormtrooper figure from 2016's Rogue One assortment. The Stormtrooper began shipping in late May, 2019 along with the VC138 Elite Praetorian Guard, VC139 Lando Calrissian (Solo), VC141 Chewbacca, and VC142 Captain Phasma action figures.
