On September 1, 2017, as part of Lucasfilm's international Force Friday II event, Hasbro released the massive BB-8 2-in-1 Mega Playset pictured on this page. Suitable for display as either Poe Dameron's helpful droid, or as Supreme Leader Snoke's First Order command ship, both sides featuring lights and sounds. The command ship side, built to interact with the 3.75-inch action figure collection, features many play elements such as a trap door, exploding platform, and a collapsing bridge. A Force Link gauntlet as well as exclusive Supreme Leader Snoke and Elite Praetorian Guard (with Single Blade) action figures were included with the playset.
