Starting this Thursday (September 29th) - and just in time to make room for the sets that are sure to get put out for the very first time on Force Friday (October 30th) - Big W is reducing the price on LEGO Star Wars sets 75148 Encounter on Jakku, 75149 Resistance X-Wing Fighter and 75151 Clone Turbo Tank by roughly 20%. Thanks to Snippet Von Kripsenstein for posting the above photo in the Star Wars LEGO Australia group on Facebook.

A Rebelscum reader from New Jersey has written in to let us know that he had no problems at the checkout when he bought the 6-inch Jyn Erso, Imperial Hovertank Pilot and Cassian Andor from the Toys "R" Us in Woodbridge today. He also picked up the 3 3/4 inch Jyn, K-2S0 and Imperial Guard, but passed on the Interactech Imperial Stormtrooper. It seems to be a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to street dates being enforced, so keep sending in your store reports with more than a week to go until Force Friday!

Both Rick and Alan have posted, via the Australian Star Wars Trading Post on Facebook, that the Rebel U-wing Fighter has been seen at Toys "R" Us - priced a staggering AU$120 (US$90) - in both South Australia and SE Queensland. Stock volumes are limited but it's unlikely that these are flying off the shelves.

The new 75159 UCS Death Star has been announced and it's 99.5% re-release of a set, at an additional $100, that was only retired less than 12 months ago. How do you feel about this addition to the LEGO Star Wars line?
Ecstatic: it's LEGO Star Wars after all!
Great: I didn't get a chance to buy 10188.
Fair to middling: I like to build and it has some nice new additions.
meh: the UCS range is meant to be special.
Harrumph: 10188 is cheaper on eBay.
Fuming: abject failure in market research and imagination.
