We have had multiple reports of the Forces Of Destiny dolls being found at retail. Rebelscum reader Todd attempted to buy the the Leia and R2-D2 pack at his local Toys "R" Us but was denied at the register. They apparently have a street date of October 1st. This may just be an error on the stores part as these are supposed to be available now as per Hasbro. Let us know what you find at your store and if you have any difficulty purchasing them.

Have you been thinking about buying a four-and-a-half foot, motion-activated Darth Vader or First Order Stormtrooper but did not want to spend $100 or even $50 on clearance? Well, your procrastination has paid off. is selling them for $34.97 each!!! While that is not even enough to make the threshold for free 2-day shipping, you can have it sent to your local store for free pick up (or spend three more cents and get it delivered to your door). These items make a great addition to any collection and serve as sentinels for your Star Wars room/cave/warehouse.

While it's certainly not official yet, a number of European retailers and wholesalers in Germany, Italy, Hungary, Poland and Greece have listed a mysterious "LEGO 75187 - Star Wars - Confidential brick Build Bb-8" as being available from September 1st, 2017. While recommended retail prices vary between 99.99 and 120.00 this is less an indication on the uncertainty of this listing and more a reflection on the domestic economies of the Eurozone nations. This information was first revealed on by PrisonBrick who comments that since the set seems to be getting a wide release it won't be the usual Direct To Consumer (D2C) exclusive that an Ultimate Collector's Series set normally is, and is unlikely to get the UCS badge.

While we now look back at the LEGO Star Wars line and consider its success to be a no brainer, back in 1999 when LEGO launched it they didn't know if it was a winning gamble, or if the expense of the license and developing the initial range would further mire them in debt. Jump through to learn about one of the more inventive approaches LEGO undertook to promote the new licensed line - and your chance to own a set of these rare collectables.
