Images have emerged of the Escape The Space Slug set given away today at LEGO Brand Stores around the world. This one day promo has approximately 5 hours (at time of posting to run), with the Honolulu having the most westerly official LEGO outlet. You can head to Promobricks.de for more information.

The next show from Brick Events will be held at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane, on May 14/15th. As an added bonus there will be a small display from Ryan "Brickman" McNaught, and it being the internationally recognised month of Star Wars there is sure to be a focus on these sets. May hasn't even started yet and the new LEGO Brand Store event calendar for June is out, and yes there's more Star Wars events planned. Sometimes I wish The Force would hit snooze and go back to sleep! Note the stress on Days, because LEGOLAND Malaysia is hitting May with both feet on the ground, with a month-long schedule of events in the region. These include building a giant TIE Fighter, an exclusive Duplo promotional brick, a MINI Millennium Falcon build, a SUPER GIANT Millennium Falcon build, a MOC display, 501st Legion parades and free kids entry if they are dressed in a Star Wars costume.

It looks like LEGOLAND is getting the band back together - with the news that Gerald Home is attending the Billund park comes the announcement that Tim "It's a Trap" Rose will be taking part in an autograph hour between May 26th and 29th. A quick reminder that this weekend in Brisbane the Australia's Premier Collectibles Show will be held at PCYC Redlands. In addition to the Toys "R" Us LEGO Star Wars mini-build being held in the USA, we have learned that Club Members in Canada can visit any TRU store in the US from 11 am April 30th for their specially organised build event.
