General McQuarrie's knowledge of logistics and planning made him an integral part of the planning and establishment of the Rebellion's new Echo Base on the planet Hoth. General Rieekan selected McQuarrie to serve as his second-in-command at Echo Base, where McQuarrie was instrumental in the facility's construction.

This bust was inspired by the The Empire Strikes Back cameo appearance of iconic concept artist Ralph McQuarrie, who created the initial designs for Star Wars.
