Without warning, in mid March 2012, Gentle Giant announced the production of the Jumbo Kenner Death Star Droid. The mock up images released for DSD featured the cloudy finish most classic Kenner Death Star Droids have these days, but thankfully, the fully produced figure arrived ten months after the announcement with a glorious super shiny vac-metal finish like our old ones once had!
