Hot Toys announced the production of this limited edition alternate colorway on November 24, 2015. The Stormtrooper (Copper Chrome Version) Collectible Figure was offered exclusively to the Asian market through official Hot Toys distributors. It was not made available for North American distribution.
There is an alternate version from the one shown here, sold exclusively through Chocoolate that featured a display stand branded with the store's logo.
