The Black Series Target Exclusive
In a brave attempt to rescue Princess Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker disguises himself as an Imperial Stormtrooper and infiltrates the detention center of the Death Star.
Officially revealed at the 2018 New York Comic-Con, The Black Series Luke Skywalker (Death Star Escape) featured on this page was Target exclusive and released as part of the 2019 The Black Series 6-inch action figure line. Luke Skywalker utilizes the body of 2015's The Black Series #12 Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise) with a new belt, and a new head featuring photo real deco. Also included is a display stand, as seen with the Imperial Jumptrooper . Luke Skywalker (Death Star Escape) began shipping and appearing stores in late May, 2019.

- When Hasbro designed the 2015 #12 Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise), they had planned to release it with both the released head and the wet head featured on the figure pictured above. Lucasfilm licensing shot the idea down. As a nice easter egg, Hasbro revealed the headsculpt in the Trash Masher portion of their awesome 6-inch Star Wars diorama at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con.
