While revealed two months earlier at the New York Comic Con, it was on December 11, 2017 that Hot Toys officially announced the production of the MMS457 Luke Skywalker and MMS458 Luke Skywalker (Deluxe Version) 1/6 scale collectible figures. The deluxe version of The Last Jedi Movie Masterpiece Series collectible figure featured on this page differs from the regular edition by its added accessories. Collectors grabbing the deluxe version will find it packed with the broken antenna Luke used to defend himself from Rey's attack, the backpack the exiled Jedi Master toted around on his daily adventures on Jedi Island, and a unique Porg figure with display stand. This release began shipping in North America in January, 2019.
