Announced on December 2, 2014, the MMS271 Shadow Trooper is a repaint of the tall MMS267/MMS288 Stormtrooper figure. For this version, which began shipping in March 2015, Hot Toys included the character's optional black Pauldron and attachable hip Ammo Packs along with a standard issue BlasTech E-11 Blaster Rifle.
