2014 Mission Series
Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader engage in a Lightsaber duel above the gas giant planet Bespin. luke fights bravely but cannot defeat the highly skilled Vader. Luke loses a hand in the battle and discovers the truth about Vader's identity.
The first wave of Hasbro's Rebels Mission Series, or if you prefer the fourth wave of the Mission Series collection, featured three debut action figures and seven re-offered action figures in five two packs including the MS01 Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios and Stormtrooper, the MS02 C-3PO and R2-D2, the MS03 Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader pictured here, the MS04 Yoda and Darth Sidious, and the MS05 Boba Fett and Stormtrooper sets. Originally revealed in the Hasbro showroom at the International Toy Fair, the Assortment began hitting shelves in North America in November 2014.
This set features repacks of the figures previously released in the Mission Series MS09: Bespin two pack. Though the Darth Vader is a straight repack, the Luke Skywalker is ever so slightly different, as a darker brown paint was used on the figure's belt.

- The Darth Vader in this set is a straight repack of the figure previously released in the Mission Series MS01: Star Destroyer, MS09: Bespin two packs, and the single carded Rebels Saga Legends SL09 Darth Vader. This version can be identified by the white paint date stamp on the figure's bottom.
- The Luke Skywalker in this set is for the most part a repack of the figure previously released in the Mission Series MS09: Bespin two pack. This version can be identified by the color of the figure's belt, which is a darker shade of brown from the previous release. This figure doesn't have a date stamp.
