Normally used as a pleasure craft, and capable of substantial atmospheric speeds, the skyhopper can be outfitted for light combat duties, with slightly more powerful engines and a single laser cannon. The popularity of the skyhopper has resulted in a ready supply of spare parts via secondary markets, making them very easy for amateur mechanics to keep in the air.
