    Comments: When young Luke Skywalker first settled into the seat of this T-65 X-wing starfighter, he instantly felt right at home. The control set – so similar to ships he’d flown before – allowed him to instantly pilot it with surprising skill in one so young. He bonded quickly with the ship, feeling its individual quirks by instinct, and sensing by its handling as he passed out of the atmosphere of Yavin 4 how it would fly in the coming battle. His immediate link with the ship, and his success over Yavin, led to a lifetime of adventure at its controls.
