Snowtroopers are stormtroopers trained for operations in arctic conditions and equipped with specialized gear to protect them against the cold.

The Snowtrooper action figure featured on this page saw a very early production run change. The earliest examples featured matte armor. It was changed to a high gloss finish.

This figure was first officially revealed with the other figures in this wave of The Black Series 6-inch collection in the Hasbro showroom at the 2016 International Toy Fair. The wave, which became available in late November, 2016, also included figures based on the Princess Leia Organa, AT-AT Driver, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Revan, and Sabine Wren.
