Comments: Many may think that the (Twin Pod) Cloud Car Pilot had stones for firing at the Millennium Falcon. After all only someone with big, heavy, diamond-hard stones would take a cloud car to threaten the famous Correllian freighter, right? One would think, however the truth of the matter is, when asked if he had ever heard of the ship that made the Kessel run in twelve parsecs, the (TP)CCP was quoted as saying: "What? Who? For how many pink jellybeans?" He may not be too smart, but he sure makes for a cool action figure!
Major Variations: Though all vintage figures have minor variations, the (Twin pod) Cloud Car Pilot does have one interesting variation. When produced by Lili Ledy for the Mexican market, the torso was moulded in a different sort of plastic using a slightly different sculpt, creating a sharply detailed finish. The plastic has a near undetectable light gray tint to it, and though not brittle, has the same visual qualities of porcelain. This version of the figure is easily spotted by the spray ops on its gloves and boots. Unlike all other examples of this figure, the Lili Ledy figure sports bright yellow paint. This figure, like all Lili Ledy figures lacks a COO* stamp. There are no documented examples of this figure being packaged or sold by any Kenner subsidiary other than Lili Ledy.
