May 18th at 10am your local Wal-Mart will be hosting a Star Wars event where "Young Jedi cadets can test their skills with a lightsaber in an actual Jedi training academy." Alert Rebelscum reader Ak-rev spotted this info over at Wal-Mart.com today. Sounds like interesting stuff - can't wait to hear more details...

Rebelscum reader Giles pointed out an oddity in a recent K-Mart ad paper: "Apparently AOTC is going to be VERY violent. Just check out the inside of the special K-Mart ad from today's Sunday paper. Obi-wan has cut off the right hand, and top of the head, from poor Darth Tyranus!" A scan of the ad is here, with a close-up over here. As Giles goes on to point out, this is obviously an editing mistake, but funny given the pose of the figures.

LEGO Sneak Peek

Action-Figure.com has posted images of two Episode II LEGO sets, Jedi Duel and Tusken Raider Encounter. One of the sets reveals a key element of the film, spoiler wary fans be warned. See them now, before they disappear! American Dream Comics also has the photos and boxed photos of the upcoming Emperor's Fall, Luke's Surrender, Destroyer Droids and Battle Droids.
