Just in case you haven't already purchased the initial waves of Rogue One toys you can now make your midnight 8am plans to attend the official Force Friday toy launch at one of the eight branches (out of 37) nationwide which will be opening a whole hour early. I understand why Aussies refer to the event as Farce Friday now.

Throughout the duration of NYCC, Star Wars fans can stop by DK booth #2311 for daily signings by Pablo Hidalgo, author of Star Wars Year by Year: A Visual History (Updated Edition), and Jason Fry and Kerrie Dougherty who will sign prints and copies of their updated Star Wars Complete Locations. In addition LEGO builder Rod Gillies will make a special appearance on Friday to showcase his builds from LEGO Star Wars: Build Your Own Adventure too.

Collectors in the US can now get a free polybagged First Order General minifig (5004406) with a $30 purchase of LEGO Star Wars. The offer is only valid to October 1st, so if you are keen for the new LEGO Rogue One sets you can time your purchase with Force Friday. Rebelscum reader David H. has found the newest The Black Series 3 3/4-inch wave at his local Texas Walmart. This wave includes 4 repacks from The Vintage Collection, Ahsoka Tano, Imperial Royal Guard, General Lando Calrissian and Admiral Ackbar. This may be one of the first finds of this wave. The release date on this wave was previously unknown, but now appears it should be available nation wide on Force Friday.

Amidst plenty of reports of RO finds in North America, Chris B. sends word that he scored the first wave of 3-3/4" figures at K-Mart in the Cheltenham Southlands Shopping Centre. Priced AU$20 they thankfully rang up at AU$15 when he got to the cashier.

Starting this Thursday (September 29th) - and just in time to make room for the sets that are sure to get put out for the very first time on Force Friday (October 30th) - Big W is reducing the price on LEGO Star Wars sets 75148 Encounter on Jakku, 75149 Resistance X-Wing Fighter and 75151 Clone Turbo Tank by roughly 20%. The new 75159 UCS Death Star has been announced and it's 99.5% re-release of a set, at an additional $100, that was only retired less than 12 months ago. How do you feel about this addition to the LEGO Star Wars line?
Ecstatic: it's LEGO Star Wars after all!
Great: I didn't get a chance to buy 10188.
Fair to middling: I like to build and it has some nice new additions.
meh: the UCS range is meant to be special.
