On Yavin 4, the Rebels hold a ceremony to award the heroes who bravely fought to destroy the Death Star. Luke Skywalker receives his medal for bravery from Princess Leia.

The Black Series Luke Skywalker (Yavin Ceremony) action figure featured on this page is a repack of the figure originally released as The Black Series “Skywalker Strikes” European Convention Exclusive in September 2019. This version has fewer accessories, but includes a ceremomial medal not featured in that release. Luke Skywalker (Yavin Ceremony) was revealed during the 2019 New York Comic Con. Notably, the first release of this figure had the name Skywalker misspelled 3 times on the box, reading "Skywalkwer" on the front, and "Skwalker" on the back and faintly in the background of the left side. These errors were corrected when the figure was carried forward into the next wave. Luke Skywalker (Yavin Ceremony) debuted as part of Wave 23 of The Black Series and began shipping in Late October 2019 alongside the First Order Jet Trooper Figure, Cara Dune, Wedge Antilles, Jannah, as well as carry-forwards of Rey and D-O, and the Sith Trooper.
