Battle droids are dim-witted and no match for clone troopers or Jedi, but they weren't designed to be smart - they were designed to overwhelm Republic civilians through sheer numbers, something they do very effectively.
The Black Series Battle Droid (Geonosis) action figure featured on this page is a repaint of 2019's The Black Series #83 Battle Droid, this time in Geonosis brown. Battle Droid (Geonosis) was revealed during the 2019 Barcelona Manga Convention. Battle Droid (Geonosis) is part of Wave 25 of The Black Series and began shipping in late June 2020 alongside the Plo Koon, Anakin Skywalker (Padawan), Obi-Wan Kenobi (Jedi Knight), Kit Fisto, as well as a carry-forward of Count Dooku. This wave represents the final assortment in the red/black packaging design.
