This edition is identical to the first edition, but has several additions to the text. These addition include:
- The Mandalorian Wars (p26) which covers the Knights of The Old Republic comic
- Jedi on the Run (p66) which covers the Dark Times comic
- Legacy (p116) which covers the Legacy comic
- Five new sections added under Expanding the Universe include: Toys and Games, Classic Plastic, Novelty Merchandise, Premium Products and Celebrations
The Timeline has also been tweaked removing two entries and adding three new ones to include the Original DVD release, and Celebrations IV and Europe.
