The Official Site released a PDF on March 19, 2009 to introduce, or refresh, readers to the characters and events of the timeframe. It also includes an 11-page preview of Chapter 5 from Outcast. It can be downloaded here.
There was also a series of three e-Postcards produced by Random House. They are presented in the form of a short letter from Ben Skywalker to Jaina Solo.
