Using a pair of electrobinoculars, Darth Maul informs his master that the Yinchorri attack on the Jedi Temple has begun.
While on guard duty, Jude Rozess, a female Jedi is attacked by a large group of Yinchorri. A gruff Yinchorri solider mocks her as he strangles her. Just before she dies she uses the Force to call her lightsaber to her, immolating the Yinchorri. The commander instructs them to kill all the children first. As the group enters the Temple, they discover a large contingent of Jedi waiting for them, with lightsabers lit.
In orbit around Yibikkoror, Micah Giiett and K'kruhk launch the escape pods from their damaged Republic cruiser attempting to distract the Yinchorri fighters following them. Plo Koon then jettisons the salon pod, which is promptly shot down by the remaining fighter. Their crippled cruiser hurtles towards the small planet.
Meanwhile, on Yitheeth, Tsui Choi and Theen Fida are enjoying a swim in the ocean. Eeth Koth and Adi Gallia break out the landspeeder so they can check out the only permanent installation on the planet, which looks like a giant processing plant. The Jedi wander into the installation, warily, when a Devaronian with a broken horn orders the Yinchorri to kill them. The Jedi spring into action; Tsui leaps up and severs a catwalk, while Theen uses a force-push to disarm another attacker. Adi Gallia captures the Devaronian and demands he tell them where the High Command is located. He swears it's not on Yitheeth, but knows where. They contact the group of Jedi on Yibikkoror.
On Yibikkoror Micah's cruiser has crashed into a floating platform and is being attacked by a group of Yinchorri. Plo Koon has an idea to aide them and uses the Force to draw some of the noxious clouds over them. Lilit Twoseas suggests they climb a catwalk to the top of the support balloons.
Back at the Jedi Temple, Yaddle and Depa Billaba survey the aftermath of the Yinchorri attack. Yoda is interrogating the remaining survivor when a black Jedi brings word of the remote teams in the Yinchorri system. The Yinchorri takes advantage of this distraction to reach for his gun. He takes aim at Yoda, and the black Jedi leaps to protect the master, lightsaber activating. Yoda levitates the Jedi, deflects the laser bolt and smashes the Yinchorri into the wall, knocking him unconscious. The Council members realize that someone else must be provoking the Yinchorri.
As the Jedi reconnaissance team continues their climb, a squad of Yinchorri with flying harnesses that resemble insect wings swoop down and surround them. Plo Koon hope their compatriots arrive soon, otherwise they may not last long.
