This limited edition hardcover collects Dark Empire #1-6 and is a limited edition, Smythesewn, gold foil embossed, faux leather covered, slipcased hardcover which comes with a special tip-in plate (painted by Cam Kennedy), signed and numbered by writer Tom Veitch and artist Cam Kennedy and limited to 1,000 copies.
There were also 50 Artist Proof copies created as well. Artist Proof's are identical to the other limited copies, except on the signed/numbered page, it says A/P instead of a numeral. Additionally, they come with a letter from Dark Horse verifying the books authenticity.
