Being the cultural phenomenon that it was, Star Wars references have permeated every part of popular culture. Not surprisingly, comic books have an abundance of references. This issues reference has Superman talking to Despero about his scheme to use a virus called "Phoris" to defeat the JLU, which of course fails.
This issue was reprinted as the DC Free Comic Books day edition in May of 2006.
