This comic was included in the Hasbro Star Wars Comic Packs #2, which includes a Darth Vader and Rebel Officer figure painted in the style of the Marvel artwork. This issue is a reprint of Marvel's Star Wars #1, with some minor alterations to the cover (including publisher, number, price, and the inclusion of the Star Wars 30th Anniversary logo). This comic pack was reissued and repackaged in mid-2009 (circa August 2009) as part of The Legacy Collection line of toys, as pack #1.
This issue fixes the cover logo, connecting the 'S' and 'T' of the word Star, which was incorrect on the first issue of the Marvel series.
While these 2-packs did not start shipping until December 2006, the indicia lists the publication date as May 2006.
