SYNOPSIS Mara Jade, dressed up at a fancy party excuses herself. Pulling a bag of weapons up from below a balcony, she changes her clothes and outfits herself.
She climbs up higher outside the walls of the palace to her final destination, Moff Tarkin's private safe, which she deftly opens. Guards are alerted to her presence and she dispatches them with her pistol and lightsaber, before a voice alerts her to "Hold!"
Emperor Palpatine, asks why she failed to kill the only human in this droid-laced practice program. She explains to him that it was unnecessary. Palpatine then introduces her to Darth Vader as Mara Jade, the Emperor's Hand.
