Blue and full of love!
1 As collectors we all collect Star Wars toys for different reasons & have different tastes. I personally just want to (mainly) ollect 1 of each figure for display. Now whether it be a regular carded figure or coupled with a creature, vehicle, or game...I still have to have it & I feel it's part of the overall figure line. Now my problem comes with the accessory pack which includes the red fish. In the Visual Dictionary it's called a Tee Fish. Now do you think this fish is part of the figure line or something I can pass over and not have to worry about getting to complete my figure collection?
On the same note, what about the Battle Bags?? Those to me seem more
like bathtub toys rather than figures.
A wise man once told me "buy what you like." Of course, I always say "if you have five bucks buy the dumb thing." :)
2 I've already expressed my desire for MORE DRIODS in this forum, and I see that they are putting out the different colored R2 unit with recharging station. But my question/hope is: are they going to release a butt load of different colors and patterns to choose from so we can build our droid armies and not just the one, pictured color? -JohnOB Always in motion is the future... if Hasbro sees 'em sell well, odds are that'd mean we'll see more. Personally, I'd love to see a new colored R2 unit every few months. That'd be fun, put 'em with Jawas, Rebel dioramas, etc.
3 I read somewhere that the [orange carded] Luke in X-Wing Gear with long saber is released only in .00 version. Is there any in .01? -Martin Mine's .01.
4 At regular intervals through the next year. :) Hasbro's been weird about getting a lot of things out early, and a few things out late... so hey, who knows?
5 So the back of the Vader card says that his CommTech chip interacts with the Jawa chip. What? Why would he possibly be interacting with a Jawa?
That just seems forced and/or strange. "Umm...we need him to interact with
something. How 'bout a Jawa?" I'd chalk it up to a typo.
6 Y'know, I was thinking the same thing at first... wasn't sure if I got the 12" one confused with the 4" one or something. I don't believe a picture with anything but the lightsaber has been released, and Hasbro doesn't always picture all the accessories with the pictures... so Hasbro, if you're reading this morning, please chime in. :)
7 Pretty sure it's Episode One.
8 When I got my loose set almost 10 years ago, it started out as a carded set. Loose ones aren't around all that much, as most of the line sold less-than-greatly and I have many memories of seeing figures for a buck and A-Wings for six. (No, really.) Nowadays, your best bet is checking your local vintage toy shop (assuming you've got one) or mags like Toy Shop for loose figures. But it might be easier (and more fun) to destroy some carded figures in this case.
9 I have this blue R2-D2 bank dated 1977, given away only at an Australian Bank for new accounts for a very brief period or something like that. I've never seen another one (granted, I haven't looked too hard) but the reason I love it so much is that a collector I hold in extremely high esteem looked at it and said "Hey... I don't have it in that color." That always brightens my day. As far as other stuff... well, hard to say... but the weird (i.e., BOOTLEG) stuff is always really cool because not many people mess with it.
10 Thankfully no. :) (Sorry, I've been bitten by the anti-Beanie Craze bug a long time ago. I like the buddies, but what's the fuss with the tags?)

I heard a whispering in a virtual back-alley that these two figures may
be re-released. Do you know anything about this?
Well, the Fan Club has them at random occasions... I'd be amazed to see them at retail again.
2 What? You don't like the Star Wars Buddies? -Jason Love 'em to pieces-- got a Yoda sitting on my desk. Tag protectors scare me.
3 I wonder if you could tell me or tell me where I can find the chronological order of the Star Wars novels set after ROTJ? -Andy Check out the searchable Top Site database at Entertainment Earth-- there's a few sites in there that'll help you find what you need.
4 If you order the 5 figure set, you get 5 white boxes, each with the same figure and each figure with the same 5 instruments. So you get 25 instruments and 5 figures. Now that the set is down to $30, I couldn't reccomend it more.
5 hey adam mr no puncuation here just a quick question considering how truly rare the american weequay f/f fig is how come canadian is much lower in value i got both but if i didn't i'd still be pretty happy w/ canadian i'm mean the slide is really what makes it rare yes cards are different but just due to languages hmmmm....also is canadian as rare there or no -Jimmy Technically none of the POTF2 items are really all that rare... hard to get, sure, but not rare. The Canadian Weequay might be harder to get than the US one, but traditionally, nobody gives a crap about non-US carded figures except for a smaller group of collectors (like ones that read this page). It'll always be cheaper.
6 Hasbro has been talking about doing something for some time... I expect to hear about an offer for 2000 in... 2000.
7 Like bootleg records, they're unlicensed copies of whatever goods are being discussed. Some are cheap knockoffs, some are the same figures scaled up a couple of inches, some are just crappy. Well, most. Swap meets are the easiest place to find them.
8 Yup. I used mine to get 10% off at the Burger King last week.
9 SHHH!!! They'll hear you!!!
10 I sent Hasbro a small file of questions for Q&A, so hopefully, we'll have an answer to this soon.
