    Comments: Originally built to serve as cargo ships serving the vast trading empire of the Trade Federation, these immense vessels were secretly repurposed to serve as ships of the line. Though their armament and tactical capabilities leave much to be desired, these ships are formidable simply through sheer size. Crewed almost exclusively by droids and composed mostly of empty space, they can take a phenomenal amount of damage and still continue fighting. Though vulnerable to large numbers of small, fast fighters, a single Trade Federation battleship can carry an entire planetary invasion force, including as many as 1,500 droid starfighters.
