Comments:
Han Solo and Princess Leia have to get inside the Imperial bunker; inside is the shield generator that protects the second Death Star. R2-D2 starts to unlock the blast doors, but a Stormtrooper's well-aimed shot fries the droid's circuits. Using a captured AT-ST walker, Han tricks the Imperial officers into leaving the bunker, where they are quickly surrounded by Rebels and Ewoks.
Han Solo:
Everything's riding on Han's ability to destroy the generator - and he isn't about to let a squadron of stormtroopers get in his way.
Han Solo is based on 2006's VTSC Han Solo (In Trench Coat), repainted and with a new head sculpt.
Imperial Officer:
Imperial officers receive a report that the Rebels are fleeing, so they rush outside the bunker - and walk straight into trap set by the Rebels.
This Imperial Officer is based on 2006's TSC Moff Jerjerrod, repainted and with a new head sculpt. This is Lt. Renz, the Imperial Officer who spoke the classic line "You Rebel Scum!" where this very site got its name from.
R2-D2:
The plucky astromech droid ignores blaster fire, focused totally on unlocking the bunker's blast doors, until a blaster shot disables him.
R2-D2 is a repaint of the figure from 2005's Early Bird Kit, which was based on 2004's VOTC R2-D2. The side panel is not removable.
Rebel Trooper (in Biker Scout disguise):
Some Rebel troopers disguise themselves in the uniforms of captured or fallen Imperial soldiers to infiltrate the enemy's position.
Rebel Trooper in Biker Scout disguise is based on 2006's VTSC Biker Scout, with a retooled torso and a new head sculpt. This is Nik Sant, an Endor Pathfinder. This character was also a candidate in Hasbro's Fan's Choice Poll #4 back in 2002, but lost out to the McQuarrie Concept Stormtrooper.
Points of Interest:
This set was originally planned to include a fifth figure: Imperial Officer Colonel Dyer. He was pulled from the set, and it is hoped he will be part of a future release.
