Capping off the latest adventures of Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Quest #4 concludes the first series featuring the young Padawan. Their identities discovered, Anakin and Siri plot to foil the plans of the ruthless Krayn, by whipping a slave revolt. Culminating in face off between Krayn and Anakin, Quest ends on a rather predictable note, but still warrants a quick read.
Star Wars Tales #10 brings fans five more short stories from a galaxy far far away. Garth Ennis' Troopers takes a look at the mindset of your average Imperial Stormtrooper. Skreej by mike Kennedy pokes a little fun at how Lando was able to con his way in Jabba's employ. The dark foreboding of Christain Read's Nameless explores the origin of Darth Maul's signature weapon. Ever wonder how Chewbacca really felt after Han and Leia hooked up? A Wookiee Scorned by Jason Hall dishes out all the dirt. Finally, a somewhat touching trip down computer memory lane as 3PO and R2 reminisce in Free Memory. This edition of Tales features great artwork throughout, and makes for a well-rounded read.
Both issues are on sale now at better comic shop and newsstands everywhere. Tales #10 is available in both original art, and photo cover editions.
