STAR WARS® FEVER HEATS UP AT BURGER KING®

May the Fries be with you at BK™ this Summer!

As fans all over the world eagerly await the 19 May release date of the final instalment from ‘a galaxy far, far away’, BURGER KING® restaurants will be the tastiest place to ‘feel the force’ of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. BURGER KING® has teamed up with LucasFilm to bring one of its most spectacular movie promotions ever to customers in the UK and 59 other countries around the globe.

BURGER KING® will be offering an exclusive range of six limited edition interactive toys with the purchase of every Kid’s Meal. The collectable toys, which include some of the most loved characters from the films, will no doubt be popular with fans of all ages. Available from Monday 9 May, the toys are: Darth Vader™, droids R2D2™ and C3PO™, Chewbacca™, the Millennium Falcon and, of course, Yoda™!

BURGER KING® is also joining forces with film prop and promotion specialists Weird & Wonderful [Weird & Wonderful work in partnership with LucasFilm on Star Wars promotional activity throughout the UK.] and some of the UK’s leading toy experts to host a series of Star Wars® themed ‘walk in’ memorabilia roadshows open to the general public. The events, planned for BURGER KING® restaurants in London, Manchester and Edinburgh during the week commencing Sunday 8 May, will give Star Wars® fans young and old the chance to get up close to life-size characters from the film, and also have their favourite pieces of Star Wars® memorabilia valued on the spot!
