After a preview of the trailer for Star Wars: Rebels, the folks from Hasbro were particularly excited to be working with new villains. They noted how we'd be getting brand new stories in a familiar time-period, with a heavy influence from Ralph McQuarrie and his concept art.
Starting with Hera and moving onto Sabine Wren, the team gave a nice glimpse of how the process of creating an action figure typically goes, including models, early sculpts, dec sheets, and then a final figure. Chris Gallaher noted how the attitude and personality of the character is key to making a successful figure.
The upcoming figures will include a line called the "Mission Series" contain two-packs:
- Cikatro Vizago and IG-RM
- Wullffwarro and a wookiee warrior
- Wicket and a Biker Scout
- Bossk and IG-88
Saga Legends will include:
- TIE Pilot
- ATDP Pilot
- EPV AT-AT Driver
- CW Plo Koon
Vehicles for Rebels 3.75-inch figures:
- Imperial Trooper Transport (with a classic look vintage fans will love)
