It's time once again to review another wave of Hasbro's The Clone Wars action figures!

Note that another "Greatest Hits" figure is included in this wave: R2-D2. Since it's a repack, it is not reviewed here.

Galactic Battle Game
This year's pack-in gimmick continues in this wave with Battle Card, Battle Stands, and Battle Dice.

"Free" Sgt. Bric & Battle Mat Offer
The Clone Wars line offers a "free" Sgt. Bric figure with Battle Mat also continues: by sending in 5 UPCs, the official certificate, and a check or money order for $6.99, you can get a Sgt. Bric figure and a Battle Mat so your figures have someplace to play the Galactic Battle Game!

Clone Cash & Cartoon Network Codes
Starting in this wave, The Clone Wars action figures have a random insert for "Clone Cash" a special deal for collectors to get $5 off their next purchase of Star Wars toys.

In addition, there are also secret code inserts found packed in with the figures. If you take the codes over to cartoonnetwork.com/secretcode and enter in the 14-digit code (removed from the scan above), you will be able to unlock exclusive videos about The Clone Wars Season 3 and much more!

Now, onto the figures themselves!

CW25: Ki-Adi-Mundi:
Ki-Adi-MundiThe Cerean Jedi Master gets his first action figure representation in the animated line, and it's a pretty fun figure. We haven't seen much of this Jedi in the show yet...but I'm hoping he appears more frequently, as he's always been one of my favorites. Back in 1999, Ki-Adi-Mundi served as the "host" to the Prequel Trilogy, as his adventures in the Dark Horse Comics introduced that part of the saga to Star Wars fans.

While the figure doesn't include all of the points of articulation fans demand, and the plastic/soft goods skirt is destined to cause issues when trying to get him to sit insides a vehicle, it accurately matches his outfit.

CW26: Clone Trooper (Flamethrower):
Clone Trooper (Flamethrower)If you like the Captain Rex (Orto Plutonia) figure, then you are sure to like this one...because it's a repaint of that figure, with a soft goods skirt. Only now he's shades of brown and orange and carries a flamethrower!

The deco is based on the Geonosis adventures, and it's very clean. There are 2 different flame attachments, which are made of soft plastic and are heavy....forcing it to droop over time.

CW28: Clone Pilot Goji:
Clone Pilot GojiGoji is the third Clone Pilot figure in this line, and he has the same new clone body as Commander Stone. It's not as articulated as other clones, in the line...which is honestly fine for a character that spends most of the time sitting in a vehicle anyway.

The name Goji is of course a nod to "Gojira" (aka "Godzilla")...the inspiration for the Zillo Beast episode where Goji first appeared.

There's really nothing "new" to this figure, except for the head (and possibly the belt). The deco on the helmet is nicely done...clean lines and all. Definitely a different trooper for the ever-growing clone army.
