The Art of Ralph McQuarrie will be attending Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando, Florida from August 12-15, 2010.
While we are unable to disclose all of our exciting plans for the show until they have been announced on StarWars.com, we can confirm that our commemorative art print has been approved, printed, and in a Celebration first - HAND SIGNED by Ralph McQuarrie. We also wanted to share the one thing that we can talk about now - our show exclusive giveaways!
Attendees of the last three Star Wars celebrations will no doubt be familiar with the free Ralph McQuarrie art bookmarks given away each day of the shows in Los Angeles, Europe and Japan to celebrate the release of the
Dreams and Visions Press book,
The Art of Ralph McQuarrie. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of
The Empire Strikes Back at Star Wars Celebration V, we have created a set of 9 trading cards showcasing photos of Ralph working behind the scenes as well as in costume as General McQuarrie. Fans who collect all 9 cards will be able to assemble a puzzle of Ralph's iconic Yoda painting on the back.
