In case you didn't get enough from all the photos from our
two galleries, here's a rundown of what was on display at Hasbro's booth during Preview Night.
Basic FiguresThe entire basic figure line for
The Saga Collection was on display during preview night, all the way up to the "final wave" featuring characters from the
Battle of Naboo (#s 47-52.)
The Saga Collection continues...just a LITTLE longerMuch like the "Mystery 12" from the
Revenge of the Sith line, reports word came out earlier this week of over a dozen MORE figures for
The Saga Collection due this fall/winter. Also similar to last year, these are expected to be made up of repacks and repaints. The first three of these were on display. Repacks of
Darth Maul (Sith Training) (#53),
Chewbacca (Cloud City Capture) (#54), and
Kit Fisto (Clone Wars) (#55).
Mace Windu's Attack Battalion"Ohh, I love purple." -- Vicki Vale,
BATMANThe BMF Jedi Master gets his own group of Clone Troopers to order around, all decked out in a purple color scheme. The best part of this set is the commander, which is of the airborner variety...which suggests an Utapau-color scheme version might not be far behind.
30th Anniversary Collector TinsTo be clear...2007 is not just the 30th Anniversary of
A New Hope, but ALL of
Star Wars. So the new
Star Wars Commemorative Tin Collection celebrates the entire saga in 6 different multipacks (one from each film).
The
Episode I set includes repacks of

Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighter coming to Toys "R" Us, and also
Rogue Two Snowspeeder with Zev Senesca coming to Target.
Unleashed Battle PacksThe small 2" line continues with 4 sets based on
Order 66. Look for the follwing:

A New Empire with The Emperor, Darth Vader, and 2 Royal Guards
Shock Trooper Battalion with 4 Shock Troopers
Vader's 501st LEgion with 4 501st Troopers
If 4 figures per pack is just not enough, then you'll enjoy the new

Sneak PeekCuriously, there were a number of items covered up with black sheets in the display cases. Expect these items to be uncovered over the course of the weekend (most likely on Friday), but our boys were able to get a peek under the sheets!
It appears that the retailer list posted over at
Galactic Hunter earlier this week will be unveiled later at Comic-Con. We've already seen the repacks of Maul, Chewie, and Kit, but there's plenty more where that came from.
Glimpses of the following can be seen:
Holographic Commander Cody
Swamp Trooper (the green Clone from the ROTS Deluxe set)
R5-A1 (a repaint of R5-D4)
the blue-striped
Clone Trooper from the deluxe set
Clone Trooper SergeantSuper Battle Droid with camoflague colors
Battle Droid 2-pack with camoflague colors
For the record, additional figures from the list include:
Holographic Obi-Wan Kenobi, Commander Appo (hopefully the figure shown at SDCC last year),
Elite Corps Clone Trooper, R5-K5 (Vader's new Astromech Droid),
Padmé Amidala, Cobat Engineer (CoMbat?), and
Yarael Poof. But there's been no sign of those figures....at least not yet!
Other toys glimpsed include an
Imperial Officers set, a Collector's Tin of
Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes,
Saesee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter (orange, to complete the rainbow), and much, much more.
Be sure to come back throughout the weekend as more will be revealed...
