Empire 30th Anniversary Artwork Collection #1 by Tom Hodges w/ FREE Folio:

Part of StarWarsShop's year-long celebration of The Empire Strikes Back's 30th anniversary is this exclusive new artist series featuring work from some of today's most well-known Star Wars illustrators.

Every month starting in March, StarWarsShop will release one new limited edition Acme Archives print showcasing a memorable scene from The Empire Strikes Back in serial order -- that is, each new scene will be released in story order as it appeared in the film. What makes this serialized set unique, however, is that each of the 12 scenes will showcase the talents of an artist who brings his or her own individual style to the piece, making for a wonderfully diverse portfolio of artwork inspired by The Empire Strikes Back.

The first entry in the series, "The Taking of Echo Base by the Sith Lord Darth Vader" by Tom Hodges, opens the set with an important scene taking place near the beginning of Empire.

- Measures 12 inches by 16 inches
- Giclee on watercolor paper
- Limited edition of 100
- Hand signed and numbered

As a very cool incentive for early adopters, StarWarsShop is adding a FREE handsome portfolio case designed exclusively for this set (retail value of $49.99) with the purchase of the first print, and will be made available for separate purchase (act fast -- these aren't expected to last long!).

UPDATE: The first print has sold out!
