It's not the years, Rebelscum, it's the mileage. Today Hasbro finally showed us their plans for modern releases of Indiana Jones toys during Hasbro Pulse Con. If you want to watch the Indiana Jones panel in it's entirety, you can watch it here:
Here's a quick wrap up: This first outing will focus on the classic Indy movies, with all of today's reveals coming from Raiders of the Lost Ark, implying more will come from the new movie that's scheduled to release next year. The Hasbro Indy marketing team (comprised of the same Patrick, Chris, and Eric from the Star Wars team) shared that the initial lines will mirror some of the lines from Star Wars:
Worlds of Adventure - a smaller scale aimed at a younger audience in the same vein as Star Wars Mission Fleet. There were no products revealed from this line today.
Adventure Series - a 6 inch scale aimed at collectors with each movie themed wave featuring a Build-An-Artifact. Each character will come with a designated piece of an artifact that can be assembled once all the pieces have been collected. Think Star Wars Black Series or Marvel Legends. The team said there are currently 25 figures planned in this line for now. The first wave will be a mass retail release, so no exclusives so far. In this first wave featuring characters from Raiders of the Lost Ark, the figures to be released are:
Indiana Jones (Raiders of the Lost Ark) Major Arnold Toht Sallah René Belloq (Ceremonial) Marion Ravenwood Build-An-Artifact - Ark of the Covenant
The Adventures of Indiana Jones - a throwback line featuring reissues of vintage figures plus new characters produced in the vintage style. This is a mirror of the Star Wars Retro Collection. the only figure previewed today was classic Indy, which can be pre-ordered today with a scheduled release in springtime 2023. This figure retains the spring-loaded action feature that was present in the vintage toy.
The team also shared that premium role play items will be included in the Indiana Jones line. The first Adventure Series role play item is the Staff of Ra head piece which has a light up feature when inserted into the included base. Scheduled for release in Spring of 2023.
Unfortunately for 3.75 inch collectors, there was no mention of a detailed and articulated 3.75 inch line similar to the Vintage Collection. That's not to say this line won't be pursued in the future, just no mention of it today. The team said to expect more news in 2023.
For our international friends, the team shared that Hasbro Pulse has recently expanded into additional countries within the EU, so if you've been unable to order from Pulse directly in the past, take another look to see if that option is available to you now.

Well there you have it Rebelscum! We have three confirmed Indy toy lines, with the Worlds of Adventures line being the surprise for me, as well as the absence of a TVC equivalent line. I'm sure you have thoughts, so go sound off in the forums!
