As part of Hasbro's Q&A session, Rebelscum passed on 2 of your burning questions and now we've got the answers for you.
Rebelscum: Thanks for keeping the Padmé streak alive (although that’s technically only if the AOTC wave comes out this year). We've been told a couple of times in the past that we'd finally be getting a Senator version "next year." Well that’s been a couple of years now. There are a few versions to pick from most notably her initial outfit from AOTC, when will we get around to that one? Will the streak stay alive next year? Any chance with the blended waves that we might see Padmé bumped to two per year?Hasbro: We're trying to get that EpII wave out this year and are optimistic it will make it. Sorry to report, though, that there is no new Padmé in the works next year for the Vintage collection (or any other new realistic-style Padmé). We are not sure that we ever promised that a Senator version was coming, only that versions were under consideration, but have not made the cut. We do have all as-yet-unmade versions on our tracker and hope that we will be able to eventually get them all out some day.
Rebelscum: Normally at SDCC, we get a sneak peek at the first wave of the following year. This year we assumed there was stuff being held back in order for new stuff to be shown at Celebration V. However, we only got treated to one wave of The Vintage Collection, and well, we already knew about this lineup. Any chance we can see a REAL sneak peek at see the first wave of 2011, which I believe will be the first of the mixed wave assortments?Hasbro: We had not released the info on the EpII wave, so we did consider that newsworthy, with pics. Since Wave 5 (the first mixed-movie wave) will be out not too long after Wave 4, we should in hindsight have shown that. We will work to get that out, most likely as a between-QA update for the fansites.
