Currently shipping from Hasbro are the Expanded Universe Two-Packs. You currently have four packs to choose from, with a handful of new ones rumored for next year.
First off is the
Carnor Jax and Kir Kanos Crimson Empire two pack. This features a reprint of
Crimson Empire #6 and tells the final tale of the showdown between these two ex-Royal Guards.
Showing up now, or shortly, at your local toy stores are the next three installments in the Hasbro Expanded Universe line. Taking a cue from Marvel Comics unique interpretation of the characters of the classic trilogy comes these
Star Wars two-packs. Each set features two characters, colored in the style of the Marvel comic series, and a reprint of
Star Wars #1,
Star Wars #2, or
Star Wars #3.
Finally, we present a pair of imports to the Jedi Journals. These will not be the easiest things for Americans to find, either in their original Japanese printing, or this, their UK printing. These two manga books,
Star Wars: Black and
Star Wars: Silver represent a decidedly Asian look at the
Star Wars franchise. Their stories fall outside of current
Star Wars canon, as detailed in
this StarWars.com report, but should provide hours of enjoyment at the beautiful, detailed and sometimes quirky world, known as manga.
