The twentieth anniversary celebrations of the LEGO StarWars license is set to continue with a new addition to the line up of specially minted 20th anniversary minifigures that were packed in with the 20th Anniversary Edition sets that LEGO released in April.

It is not known how this yellow-skinned minifigure of Obi-Wan Kenobi, which first appeared in 7110 Landspeeder in 1999, will be distributed and conjecturists are suggesting it might be a promotional gift with purchase item during Triple Force Friday. With a rumoured UCS set coming in October this would certainly act as an enticement to make a big purchase.

Those who are desperate to avoid the frustration of hunting down another LEGO Star Wars polybag in order to add this minifigure to their collectons can head to eBay.com or Bricklink, where the only known examples of these are being sold at OTT prices by a number of sellers in Europe.
