Now unstoppable after the
rebranding on Monday, Lucasfilm Games has announced a partnership with Massive Entertainment, the makers of Tom Clancy's
The Division and Far Cry 3, on a new Star Wars open-world video game!
The tweet has also been posted by Ubisoft and Ubisoft Massive's Twitter accounts. This is a significant announcement, as it means that EA will no longer be the sole holder of the Star Wars video game license (They will still
continue to make games under the license.) This is also not the first time Ubisoft has worked on a Star Wars title, as their Montreal studio had developed the Game Boy Advance version of
Revenge of the Sith's video game adaptation. The future is bright! While there are no details on what the game is about or what a release date will look like, be sure to stay tuned to Rebelscum for further updates!
