The new trailer for Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray wasn't the only Star Wars news coming out of this weekend's Empire Big Screen event at London's O2 Arena. In a promotion geared towards taking Blu-Ray player sales to the next level, Panasonic UK has joined forces with Lucasfilm to launch a promotion offering the Original Trilogy Blu-ray set with selected Panasonic Blu-ray players.

Here is the announcement from Panasonic.co.uk:

"To celebrate STAR WARS?: THE COMPLETE SAGA launching on Blu-ray September 12th, Panasonic is offering Star Wars Trilogy IV-V-VI as a Blu-ray disc collection when you buy a selected Panasonic Blu-ray product.*

This exciting promotion allows you to take home a piece of cinematographic history with the Star Wars Trilogy, movies IV, V and VI to watch in stunning HD quality for the first time!

Available with Panasonic?s new award-winning Blu-ray Players, Blu-ray Home Theatres and Blu-ray Recorders, this is truly a deal not to be missed.

Please visit www.panasonic.co.uk/starwars for full terms and conditions."

Big thanks to our friend Justin for the heads up!
