Questions for July 2, 2004
Q&A Archive

It's been a long time coming, but here's the latest edition of QM, finally. Thanks to all that took the time to write, I've got plenty to get caught up on and hope to crank out at least one more update before heading out on vacation.

On with the show:

1
Can you please clear something up for me? Of the six Saga Jedi Council sets that are listed on the Rebelscum site, which represent council sections from Attack of the Clones and which are from the Phantom Menace? Your photo archive lists some as being from AOTC but shows them in pictures connected to some from TPM, so I guess I'm a little confused... -Steve

So far we just have the two sets from last year and according to the package they were each from different films. Set 1 (Mace Windu, Even Piell, and Oppo Rancisis) is labeled Attack of the Clones, while Set 2 (Yarael Poof, Depa Billaba, and Yaddle) is labeled from The Phantom Menace. We show them connected in or Archive to demonstrate that the bases do interlock, even though they're from the two different movies. As for the four sets coming up, it remains to be seen if Hasbro will make some kind of differentiation between them based on their source films. According to the images floating around and the information recently posted at Hasbro, the sets which include Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and Anakin are clearly from The Phantom Menace. As for the forth Council Scene, it appears to filled with characters from Attack of the Clones, even though some of them didn't actually appear in the Council scenes.

I would love an opportunity to collect more A-wings (I only have 1), and TIEs of any kind. The X-wing I'd like them to make one with more accurate laser guns. I'm curious are there any plans/rumors for any more Action Fleet releases or re-releases?

A re-deco version of the A-Wing (blue concept art) was planned for the Action Fleet prior to the line being put back on hold in 2003. Should Hasbro bring the line back in 2005 (as mentioned last year at Comic Con) I would like to think they would pick up where they left off and include that in one of the new assortments. As for TIE Fighters, considering the Trilogy DVD release, should Hasbro bring the line up before the Episode III rollout, they could easily add a TIE or two to the line for some of the newer fans. One TIE that would be most welcome by collectors would the TIE Defender. This EU TIE Fighter saw very limited release the first time around and is still quite the prize for Action Fleet fans. No word on a new AF X-Wing, but at that scale I would think we've seen about as detailed as they can possibly get with the cannons.

I wanted to get your take on Target's on again/off again anti-collector policy (which is apparently on again.) During a recent visit to Target to pick up family supplies, I checked in on the toy Star Wars section. Long story short, the fancy new price scanners said they had more stock in back. When I asked the toy person, he told me that it's Target's policy not to pull certain toys from the stock room outside of stocking hours. After pulling a manager into the discussion, I just couldn't convince them to move some product (if they even had any new figures.) They told me that there's just too many problems with hot wheel collectors and collectors in the morning hassling employees and walking back into the stock room unattended. They said a disclaimer should have been posted stating this policy, but it was not present and that it's just luck of the draw to see if you can get what you want. For those of us who can't shop constantly for this stuff, it's very frustrating to be told to come back. What is your opinion on the matter? Am I overstepping my bounds to inquire about new product? I would also like to hear what others have to say, more specifically, if there are any magic phrases that may convince an employee to move product. Thank, Anthony

Well, I'd suggest making a slight sweeping motion with your right hand while uttering the phrase, "you will check the stock room for me," but that would probably just get you thrown out on the spot. There's really no sure-fire trick to this, you pretty much have to cross your fingers and hope for someone willing to side step the rule. I've had some luck bypassing the guys on the floor and going straight to the Customer Service counter. Typically, if you have their SKU/DPCI number, and there's little or no product on the floor, they will pull a case from the back for you. I'm not so sure how well this would work with basic figures, who knows which assortments they'll actually have on hand, but it has worked in the past for individual items (12" Speeder Bike, B-Wing, Cup&Figure sets…) quite well. Good luck!

My son and I are fans of the Playskool line, and are thrilled that there will finally be more coming out soon! (and hopefully much better marketing and more interesting packaging too)

I saw on starwars.com that the Falcon will be available again, but with three figures: Han, C3PO, and Chewbacca. What happened to the Stormtrooper that came with the Falcon the first time around? What with the imbalance of good guys vs. bad guys (which will sort of be helped by the bounty hunters), I'm disappointed that the Stormtrooper has disappeared from the lineup.

The double-pack Han looks new, but are the Chewbacca and C3PO packed together the same figures that come with the Falcon?

I realize maybe no one has the answers to these questions yet, but just thought I'd give it a try! Thanks! -Neil.

While there's been no official word on the fate of the Stormtrooper, I can only imagine it was done to reduce cost. It's entirely possible Hasbro has plans for that figure in a future assortment, or as a pack-in with a different vehicle (let's hope), but nothing has been mentioned yet. Of all the figures to drop, the Stormtrooper is the most curious. Even for this line, I'm sure fans (even kids) would rather have an extra trooper than another 3PO. Oh well, I'm sure Hasbro has their reasons…

The double pack Han does look new, he's clearly sporting his Bespin duds and not ANH gear as the wave indicates. I suppose we could eventually see a switch between the 2-pack and Falcon Hans; considering the theme of the first Falcon vehicle it would actually make more sense. As near as I can tell, the Chewbacca figure is the exact same as the previous version, but the 3PO figure is slightly different with its left arm raised. As a side note, based on the package art shown for the Falcon, it looks like that 3PO may come with both arms raised. Still, it's probably too early to tell for sure.

Does Hasbro even acknowledge the poor quality of plastic that they have been using lately or do they fain ignorance? As I am writing this I can't help but look around at my collection and be disappointed by the drooping wings on my X-wing or Darth Maul's sagging saber from the unleashed line or my clone trooper and speeder bike with the front end warping and bending all the way down to the ground. I sure would like to know if Hasbro has plans on continuing to use this poor plastic in future toys as it may way on my decisions to purchase some of their new items.

Yeah, you forgot the saggy Geonosian fighter… Amanaman's limp staff… need I go on? The only acknowledgement Hasbro has made to this and other related points is that this is done for child safety. Soft plastic presents less chance for serious injury, and thus reduces the risk of a major lawsuit. Case in point; Mattel just issued a recall on their recent Batmobil sitting increased risk of laceration or puncture from the vehicle's tailfins. I bought the toy for my kid, these things are quite pointy, and I can appreciate where this would be a concern. Mattel, more than any other company, probably appreciates this issue all too well; it was their Battle Star Galactica line that pretty much got the toy safety ball rolling. Unfortunately this is a situation that shows little chance of ever going away. Not that I advocate dangerous toys, I've got four kids of my own to think of, but from an enthusiasts standpoint it is rather disappointing to continually see toys released that simply can't hold their own.

I'm sure by now you've seen the picture floating around on the Internet of the closing scene of ROTJ that is supposedly from the DVD. I'll be honest and let you know (not that it matters) that I'm not crazy for that big of a change in the movie, not to mention it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Extra digital effects or enhancement is fine by me, but that is a bit drastic. Anyhoo, I wanted to know what you thought of it and what (if anything) does this mean for the Anakin Skywalker Flashback figure from a few years back? If this pic is accurate, now he is not even in the movie! I guess he can join the ranks with the Lak Sivrak...victims of the ever-changing view of George Lucas :) Cheers, -Wayne

For someone who was basically raised on the Classic Trilogy this is extremely disappointing. It seems more and more of the original films are simply being swept away, and quite honestly those films are what made Star Wars what it is, not the prequels, not the new and improved versions. From a certain point of view I can see what Lucas is trying to do, trying to link the two trilogies more closely, but at what cost? With each change he alienates more long time fans and in many ways lessens the classics. I suppose it would be one thing if Lucas was willing to put the Original Trilogy films out there in their original theatrical form, but he seems determined not to do that. Oddly, his refusal to do so will only push many fans to the point Lucas and others are trying so hard to fight; video piracy. These updated versions will only serve to create higher demand for the original theatrical versions, and drive fans out to bootleg copies based off the original Laserdiscs.

Are there any plans on another vote for a new fan favorite figure on Hasbro? And what is next up for Toys 'R Us 4-packs after Theed? Is the Theed 4-pack confirmed? Any news on any upcoming multi-packs in the OTC collection?

No plans for another Fan Choice poll have been announced on the Hasbro site, and there are no rumors that one is forthcoming. I'm sure Hasbro will run another survey eventually, but their timing is their own where that is concerned. In addition to the Theed (Naboo Final Conflict) 4-pack, there will be an Endor Ambush set as well. So far neither of these sets have been "officially" confirmed, but they are both currently listed on the Amazon/TRU website for pre-order. The packaging style for both these sets will feature at least the basic black and silver elements of the OTC package, clearly the Naboo set wouldn't fall under OTC, but the Endor set would. Assuming the 4-pack model continues, I'm sure we'll see more OTC offerings, but at this time it's just too early to tell.

I have a quick question about the upcoming Original Trilogy Collection. Is this Hasbro's idea of a joke? If I'm counting correctly right now there are 8 NEW figures if you're counting the "Clean" Biker Scout as new. And 30 repackaged counting the "Fan's Choice" Scanning Crew Member.

Like many of you out there I've been pretty loyal to this line since '95 but enough is enough.
There are still so many characters without figures like: CZ-1, Sandcrawer Droid (silver), Captain Needa, General Tagge, Lieutenant Sheckil, Major Derlin, Toryn Farr, Yarna D'al, Gargan (Jabba's dancer) just to name a few. I wouldn't even mind some resclupts Like Uncle Owen, Han Solo (Stormtrooper), or Wedge so we can finally get them on a cardbacks…

Why so many repackages? Are these overproduced, returned figures from retailers that Hasbro has no other idea what to do with?

I know that most of Hasbro's focus is probably on the Episode 3 line right now but I think they really dropped the ball this time. I for one will not buy one more repackaged Vader or Luke as long as I continue to collect. Which won't be much longer if this is going to be the norm. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Thanks for letting me vent. -Tony K.

Personally, I wouldn't even bother counting the clean Biker Scout; it's already been released as well…

No, this is no joke; this is the real deal. For whatever reason, Hasbro has decided to make this the year of the re-packs. With the Original Trilogy finally coming to DVD, you would think Hasbro would have had bigger plans than this. They certainly started the year out right; up until now we've seen some great figures, and I for one certainly had high hopes the line would continue this trend throughout the year. Oh well… Unfortunately, the line seems to be coming to a screeching halt following the Dagobah/Bespin waves, which in total adds only six new figures and one repainted R2-D2 (sort of). If I didn't know better, it's almost as if Hasbro was caught totally off guard and had to scramble to put a line together last minute that "went with" the DVD release. I suppose there's a chance some new figures might be revealed this summer, but it certainly looks like all we'll be seeing for the remainder of the year are repacks.

Without a doubt there are many, many characters Hasbro could have covered and one would think there would be no better time than now, with the DVD release, to hit some of the more obscure ones - taking full advantage of the movies being so fresh in everyone's minds and the heightened exposure. Instead, we're getting yesterday's peg warmers refreshed and in some cases multiple versions of the same character over, and over, and over. It borders on ridiculous, but between now and the end of the year we're actually getting four versions of Darth Vader - three in the basic line, one in the vintage line. Call me crazy, but why not just one version and two or three other figures, maybe even a new one?

There's been no mention if these 'repack' figures are in fact old figures being repackaged or new runs off the old molds. For sure, repacking old stock would save time and money in one sense, but it will be up to Hasbro to tell us exactly what's going on there. Considering the figures hitting now were planned over a year ago, Hasbro had plenty of time to come up with this line before ever jumping into Episode III. This is what makes me think the DVD release was somewhat of a surprise to them. There were many rumors regarding more prequel figures running around in the beginning of the year. I could see where Hasbro, finding out about the DVDs late, shifted gear into an all Trilogy line, but found themselves short on time to come up with enough Trilogy based waves to finish off the year. In that case dragging out a few old figures would be about the best they could do. It's just a thought, but I wouldn't be shocked to find out if that was the case. The end result is the same though, for the rest of the year we'll just have to suffer through the line until more new figure can be released.

It's a real shame, I've heard from a number of collectors at the end of their rope over this, but there doesn't seem to be much Hasbro can, or is willing to do at this point. Hang in there…

I recently purchased my first home and it has a very large unfinished basement. Eventually we plan on finishing it, but currently it has hollow block walls and a pool table. My question is this; do you have any suggestions in my putting my Star Wars collection in the basement before it is finished? I have been collecting since '78 and have quite a few valuable pieces and I don't want mold or any other unknown basement dwellers to cause damage. -Timponobi

Basements are actually very good places for your collection; typically they're cooler than many of the other rooms in your house. What you'll want to look for are any signs of water damage, or other potential threats to your collection. As the room is unfinished, this is actually the perfect time to make an inspection. Look for signs of water leakage, water stains, or mold now and take the necessary steps to address where they came from and how to stop them. If you have laundry machines in your basement, make sure the dryer vents to the outside - not inside where it may cause moisture to build up. Look for any signs of bugs or rodents that may take a liking to some of your cardboard packaged toys or those with cloth accents. In the end you should end up with a nice safe place to store and display your collection.

Perhaps I haven't paid close enough attention, but I'm still a bit confused as to the difference between the up coming new "vintage" figures and those of the OTC line. From what I understand, both use the retro-packaging design, but the vintage figures have a higher price point. Why is this? Are there other differences I've missed? How does one tell the two lines apart?

The basic figure line uses 'elements' from the original package design; the black card with the double silver boarder. The vintage line uses an exact reproduction of the vintage card front, right down to the narrow 'coffin' bubble used to hold the figure. It might be hard to describe/envision, but once you see the two side by side, you'll say to yourself, "oh yeah…"

Just thought I would toss out a question. I think I probably already know the answer, but hey who knows. Anyway... What do you think (or know) the possibilities of Hasbro producing two items?

Item 1 - bulk figure stands like the ones they are putting in with figures right now. I would think that they could offer these at the new SW shop. I also think that Collectors would buy them. I mean the profit margin on those things had got to be pretty good. If you sell them for $1-$1.50,I would think that the profit would be pretty good. So?

Item 2 - Bulk Clamshells. They are producing some for the new VOTC. Any chance of getting those in bulk also. I ask b/c I assume they will have some SW logo and such molded into them. But I thin the same logic for the stands would apply.... cheap to make and good profit?

Anyway I just wanted to get your thought on the matter. I am pretty sure that this is not ever going to happen but another point of view would be nice. -Andrew

Both sound like excellent ideas to me, though I'd rather see them offered in exchange for Jedi Master Points (or standard POPs) plus shipping. Unfortunately there's been no word, or even hint, that Hasbro has been thinking in this direction. We'll do our best to float the idea past them and/or others, hopefully someone warm up to it.

12
I have a question about the new OTC figures. I read that there will be several of the figures coming in a "clamshell" protective case. My question is...which figures in the OTC line will have these cases, and how much more will they cost from the others?

The figures that come with the clamshell are the "Vintage" style figures and will run roughly $10. The basic figure line should remain in the $5 price point. Hope that helps.

What figures need to be made from the 92 or 96 figures? Is it just Ewoks now? It looks like they have done them all except those. If that's the case can someone ask them to do a "finishing off the vintage remake line" box set? I'd bet they make a lot of money off that with just that phrase. I remember when we all wanted the complete set of bounty hunters; both small and large and we got it. I can't see how Hasbro could pass on a box set of what five or six Ewoks? Can you please list the figures still to be made? Maybe I'm missing someone. I know a lot of people don't think we have an Imperial officer because he not wearing a tunic. I'd like to know of those as well. Just a complete list of what still needs to be made. Like the old death star droid is not the same as the new one, so I'd count him etc. -Tim

With recent additions of the Cloud Car Pilot, Leia Bespin, and General Madine many of the figures left from the vintage line that have not been "updated" are in fact Ewoks (Chief Chirpa, Lumat, Warok, and Romba). However there are still a few other vintage figures that lack modern counterparts, namely the Imperial Dignitary (Sim Aloo), the black Bespin Security Guard, B-Wing Pilot and Klaatu. Even still, there are a number of figures where a case could be made that while modern versions have come close; they're still not quite there. Among these figures you'll find the Silver Death Star Droid, Imperial Commander, (Hoth) Rebel Commander, and the Death Squad/Star Commander, even Barada and Nikto. There's really no telling when or how Hasbro will get around to addressing these omissions, but seeing figures like Madine, Leia Bespin, and the Cloud Car Pilot released this year certainly indicates Hasbro will probably get around to it eventually.

14
Why does Hologram Luke Skywalker and the OTC Spirit Obi-Wan Kenobi come with lightsabers?!?!?! First of all, Spirit Obi-Wan is DEAD so why would he need to use a lightsaber in the Force afterlife? Secondly, Luke is a holographic message delivered to Jabba recorded and projected by Artoo who has his lightsaber secretly concealed inside of his dome until he shoots
it into the air at the Pit of Karkoon. Now, a holographic Obi-Wan Kenobi with lightsaber from AOTC would make sense, but it looks like the small holoprojector stand that came with Bail Organa is probably the only version of this figure we will get.

Two reasons, one probably more so than the other - A) The lightsabers were included for added value. B) Both figures were planned with the option in mind to release non-spirit/hologram versions as well. Clearly we saw this with the Luke Jabba's Palace figure already; I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the same done with the Obi-Wan figure in due time. As for the AOTC Obi-Wan idea, that's certainly something Hasbro could explore, and in this case it would make sense, but only if the saber was 'holographic' treatment the figure gets. Time will tell…

15
Is it just me, or does it look to anyone else like the photo on the front of Endor Strike Han Solo's bubble is a product of Photoshop? I'm one of those who refuses to believe that Han actually put on the entire uniform as opposed to the helmet alone. This photo clearly show's Han's head as being a little too small for the helmet, and his shoulder's appear rather slim.

Also, with the Saga line coming to an end, as Hasbro has reported, does this mean that Hasbro might market Episode III along the lines of Episode I? Or is it possible that the Saga line will be brought back along with Episode III? To me the Saga line was the best thing Hasbro could have done as far as uniting the entire SW saga goes.

I remember reading on Rebelscum that new and improved CommTech chips were ready for release by November. I recall the report being rather bland, but if true, I think we have had our fair share of CommTech chips and we should never see them on the card of a Star Wars figure again. Ever. Especially when the voices aren't even those of the actors, and your battle droid ends up sounding like a cowboy. -George R.; Harlingen, TX

It's not just you, I think it's obvious the photo used for the Endor Strike Han was 'created' and not from any part of the ROTJ footage. Frankly, if someone wanted to do an SNL style skit of Han jumping into the uniform, speaking his lines, then jumping back out in time to rush the bunker, I'm sure we'd all get a pretty good laugh out of it. Clearly, Han never put the entire uniform on, he only wore the helmet and maybe a glove, but what kind of figure would that make? It may be a case of a little creative license, but it's probably the only way Hasbro could see their way clear to releasing a version form that scene.

It's hard to say for sure at this point, but I imagine we've seen the last of the Saga line as we know it. Based on the few rumors circulating, I think the idea of the Saga line will continue in the OTC line once we move past the DVD release. There are indications some Prequel figures will be released later on in the black OTC package, but without the specific OTC logo. We already know this is what we'll see with the TRU Jedi Council sets and Naboo Multi-pack. Early package rumors for the Episode III stuff indicate Hasbro may include a fiery lava theme on their package. It's entirely possible the way they handle this line will be exactly the same way they handled the Saga line; Episode III figures released along side Classic Trilogy and earlier Prequel characters, but that remains to be seen. From where we're sitting, the Saga line appears to have been a much bigger success that previous attempts at splitting Classic and Prequel figures apart, hopefully this trend will continue no matter what name they give the line.

New CommTech chips in November you say…? I think Dave just fell off his chair. That was in fact one of our (his actually) April Fool's Day posts this year. While a second generation CommTech chip was planned at one point, that was a long long time ago, and there are no current plans to release them - that we've been made aware of at least. Rest assured though, we most likely won't ever have to deal with that pack-in again.

Mark, I have a question regarding the next waves of figures coming soon. Will there be a price jump? On recent sponsor sites I have noticed an increase in price on case waves, but nothing more obvious than a case of 8 Vintage figures going for $89.00! That's $11.13 per figure, what will the prices be at Wal-Mart or Toys 'R Us? In my opinion, if this is true, this will be the last slap in the face from Hasbro. How can this be justified not only to the collector, but to the parents who buy these toys for the 4, 5, or 10 year old fans out there. There is no explanation to why a same figure by design (New sculpt or not) should have this high of a price tag, and I for one will leave them on the pegs where I find them and simply find another hobby

I haven't heard of any price increases at retail, but it should be noted that the new Vintage figures are priced similar to, if not exactly the same as, the Deluxe line. While these are going to look like basic figures in size, they will include more articulation, cloth accessories, and a protective clamshell. As such they will be priced higher than the standard figures. Hopefully once you're able to compare the new Vintage figures with the Basic line you'll see the added value, if not then you may well decide to pass on this line, which is certainly your prerogative.

17
I am wondering why Leia's and Luke's lightsaber in the Expanded Universe figures is red and the Clone Emperor is blue? -Chris

Well, the comic enthusiasts on the site kicked this around a bit, got a few interesting possible explanations (especially from Dave), and then Jay decided to hit up the big boys. While we couldn't come up with a direct correlation between the comics and the action figures, Jay came up with this from series co-creator Tom Veitch, "Dang if I know! I think Cam just pulled the colors out of his head." Depending on which panel Hasbro used for reference, the lightsaber colors could have been anything. The overall color style of the comic left a lot of room for subjective interpretation, I think Hasbro just kind went with the flow on these figures.

In query #16 of Question Mark #122, you answered why Hasbro doesn't want to reproduce figures from the vintage molds by stating that collectors shunned that four-pack released back in 1995 (egads! was it really almost ten years ago?). Certainly, the damage to the value of vintage figures would dissuade investors. However, every vintage four pack I ever found was intentionally damaged--some action figure saboteur had violently removed the collector's cards. Either someone didn't want anyone else to buy these figures, or it was part of a nefarious practice to damage the product and then come back later hoping the stores would reduce the price (this happened to a lot of 12" figures). So, my question is, did anyone check on why the toys didn't sell? Did anyone else notice damaged goods, or was it a localized phenomenon? On a similar note, perhaps the most fun I've had in a retail toy store in a long time was picking up Transformer key chains in the original blister pack art...I wasn't looking for them, and the nostalgia factor brought a tear to my eye...sniff. -- ray

I don't recall an organized campaign to intentionally damage the Vintage 4-packs, but it's not like the packaging was bulletproof. Even at the few stores I found the packs, which even I passed on originally, many of the sets looked to have been damaged in shipping. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon to find packages intentionally damaged. There are elements in the hobby that feel this is the best way to 'increase the value of their investment.' I was recently reminded of this practice when I came across two-dozen Silver Edition Clone Troopers, all with the upper right corner of the card dog-eared… Nice huh? It's a practice we've probably all come across in our hobby, one time or another, but I doubt there's an organized plot behind it. As for sales of the Vintage 4-pack, or lack there of, there's a couple possible factors. First, they were basically old figures released alongside new figures; not the kinda thing that grabs kid's (or Mom and Dad's) attention. Second, as remakes of old figure they were geared primarily towards vintage collectors. Where many vintage collectors saw the new Vintage 4-pack as threat to their investment, there was understandably a lack of support for the item. In the end, the lack of support at retail, and the vocal concerns from vintage collectors, was enough to move Hasbro away from pursuing the idea. Hard to say how things would have worked out today, I do hear a lot of collectors speaking fondly of the "old" toys, and there was quite a bit of buzz leading up to Hasbro's OTC Vintage announcement.

I was wondering if some sort of official understanding/licensing agreement has been reached/given in the vehicle replica department between Master Replicas and Code 3 Collectibles? It appears as if Master Replicas is concentrating it's efforts in this area on mammoth vehicle replicas like the upcoming AT-AT and, hopefully, a rumored Death Star; while Code 3 Collectibles has been concentrating on vehicles not bigger than the Millennium Falcon. It would not be in either company's interests to have the same vehicle being produced by the other. Is someone outside of these two companies guiding the choices being offered to these two companies? Who? -Anthony

It's fair to say there's no coordination between Code 3 and Master Replicas regarding which products each produce. Like Hasbro and LEGO, Gentle Giant and Attakus, Topp's and Wizards of the Coast, they are competitors within the Star Wars market vying for our Star Wars dollar. That being said, keep in mind that Lucasfilm ultimately has the final approval over what items are produced by which companies, and that 'timing' is everything. Clearly Code 3 deals in a much 'weightier' medium and is somewhat limited regarding size, where Master Replicas is not. The differences between the two companies products may be slight, but in the end offers more variety for collectors to choose from.

Stormtrooper

My question is, is their any plan to list these in the photos of Star Wars items on the site, and while I have no intentions of selling any of these items, I'm wondering if they are listed anywhere as far as value? I haven't seen them listed in a Star Wars book, like Tomarts. I'm just wondering what I should value these at and if I'm missing anything else from the list?

Because of their size and availability, there's currently no 'active' plan to add these to the Rebelscum Photo Archive. Anne is compiling a wealth of information for our Jedi Archives and will certainly add these items as the information comes her way. If you'd like to help out, be sure to drop her a line. Getting back to photos; if the opportunity ever presents itself, I'd like to shoot the few life sized/large items I have, but so far I haven't had the chance. On value I'd suggest checking completed auctions on eBay. If that doesn't offer up any useful info, get in touch with dealers that sell such items and see what they can tell you. A good place to start would be Tally-Ho Studios. I've spoken with them on a couple occasions, they're friendly and knowledgeable, and should be able to help. Good luck!

Until next time...
