Last Friday,
Sideshow Collectibles announced the second 12” figure in their
Order Of The Jedi line. To make sure you get one, SSC has devised a newsletter subscriber pre-preorder. If you are jonesing for this figure (and you’d have to be battier than your Aunt Ginny not to be) all you need to do is keep reading.

Important Information Concerning Pre-Orders
Newsletter subscribers will be given an opportunity to 'Priority Pre-order' the Anakin Skywalker 12 inch Figure from Star Wars (Ep 3), on December 16, 2005, sometime between 10 AM and Noon (PST), before pre-ordering begins to the general web audience. If you would like to take advantage of this newsletter member 'Priority Pre-ordering,' then you will need to be an active newsletter member as well as an online user account holder prior to 11:59 PM (PST), Thursday, December 15, 2005. You can sign up to our newsletter service here and register your online user account here. In addition, your e-mail address registered to your newsletter account must also match the e-mail address registered to your Sideshow Collectibles online user account.
Our recent software upgrade requires current newsletter members to create a password for their accounts. The password is one of the elements that will enable our new 'Priority Pre-order' option for members.
Anyone who does not meet these criteria by the deadline will be unable to participate in the "Priority Pre-Order" opportunity and will need to wait until general pre-orders begin. No exceptions. Phone orders will not be taken during this special ordering opportunity even if you are a newsletter member.
When 'Priority Pre-Order' concludes, and if there are any Exclusive items that remain available, the General Web Audience will have the opportunity to pre-order. We anticipate this to happen between 12 PM and 2 PM. If the Anakin Skywalker Exclusive edition sells through, then the regular edition will become available to pre-order.

What does all this mean? Quite simply, go register for the SSC newsletter and register a log in password onto your account. If you do this, you do not have to rely on the newsletter getting to your inbox. You’ll be able to log on to Sideshow’s site and get access to the newsletter directly.
But what if I’m not going to be able to go online between 10 and 12 on Friday? well surely you have a girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, husband, friend, mother, father, or sibling you can entrust your credit card information to, right? Hech, you can even get your crazy Aunt Ginny to do it for you… Just remember to
make sure only to do this if you can trust the person with your credit card. In other words, don’t just grab a busboy or meter maid to do it for you. Ultimately you still have three days to get your ducks in a row.
So there you have it. Just three more sleeps and you should be well on your way to securing this cool figure.
